Deep within our hearts we all know something about the festival lifestyle feels more natural, more right and more down to earth. FVF was founded on the idea of getting people working together, sharing their skills, learning new skills and awakening the creative and community spirit in all who rolled up their sleeves.

Now even ten years on, this original idea and spirit still thrives due to the continued support of our volunteers and members of our local community who give hours of valuable time and experience.

The Next Ten Years

What we would like to see within the next ten years is for FVF to have it’s own permanent home on 20 acres of land that could become the headquarters of a sustainable trading events company and creative arts community. Fieldview would love to have a presence all year around, living out it’s sustainable ambitions everyday and living in a creative community not just for 10 days a year but all year around.

What would it look like?

We are currently finalising the vision business plan but imagine an events hub with treehouses, yurts and teepees for events and retreats. Imagine workshop spaces for artists, artisans and trades people to run their businesses from. Imagine low impact and renewably powered housing that was affordable and natural. It could be an educational outdoor centre, a woodland school, a yoga and meditation retreat…

Having raised over £47,000 for charity over the last ten years. What could FVF achieve in the next ten years with it’s own strong foundations.

Fieldview is looking for funding opportunities to make this dream a reality. If this is something you are interested in or feel passionate about then get in touch with us. james@fieldviewfestival.co.uk
