Fieldview is run by volunteers giving invaluable time before, during and after the event. If you’d like to get involved with Fieldview, you can volunteer at the festival to earn yourself a sexy FREE TICKET, meet awesome people and get some wicked food! Ideal.
VOLUNTEERING WILL INVOLVE:
- A free ticket worth £75!
- Two shifts of 5 hours each between Thursday & Sunday
- Two free meals (One per shift)
- Arriving on site at a prearranged time for induction briefing and training.
- £75 deposit required for volunteering. Full refund given after completion of all shifts, either at the end of the festival or within 4 weeks
Volunteer job roles can include:
Area Stewarding
- Be alert and conscientious to the area you are overseeing
- Alert security of any issues or misconduct by festival attendees (i.e. persons trying to get to an area they are not allowed.)
- Encourage people to use proper routes/paths between areas
- Help with queries from customers
- Oversea camping areas – informing campers of water points, toilets and general layout of festival.
- Ensure emergency access roads are kept clear and maintained.
- Encourage campers to recycle their litter.

Wristbanding/Ticketing
- Welcome attendees
- Individually place wristbands on customers wrists (ensure wristband is applied securely so it cannot be taken off)
- Help with queries from customers
- Be friendly and helpful you’re the first person people will meet at the festival; a smile is contagious!

Car park steward
- Assist cars to park in an orderly manner
- Collect car park money as cars park
- Guide festival goers to the arena or campsite
- Generally be friendly, helpful and awesome!
- Maintain the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians as they enter/exit the site.

Waste collecting
- Working within a team collecting waste and recycling
- Litter sweep the site in shifts throughout the day, picking up all waste
- Encourage others to recycle
- 5 hours work on Friday and Saturday

Bar staff
- All bar staff will be required to arrive on site at a prearranged time for training and will need to be competent in the strict age verification policy and refusals log documentation.
- Helping man and serve the bars at Fieldview
- Keeping festival goers hydrated and happy
- Reporting to bar managers and supervisors
- Ensuring an efficient and friendly bar service
- Raise any concerns to the security team

- Your main job will be to be bald, walking around the site telling people to “make it so”
- You will have to wear a full Star Trek captain’s outfit, not supplied
- You will be able to pick a ‘Number 1’
- This isn’t a real job role
