The workshop will start with a short demonstration of a capoeira game, then participants will be taken through the basic steps, have a go at some acrobatics movements, and end with another game when everyone can have a go! Capoeira is a combination of martial arts, acrobatics and music that originated in the slave communities of Brazil, but is now popular worldwide. It challenges strength, flexibility and agility, and provides entertainment, confidence and community.
